We are looking to recruit a Marketing & Events Executive to join our Operations team, based in our Preston office. Reporting to the Head of BD & Marketing, this role will work closely with the BD & Marketing team and wider firm to deliver activity in line with the overall BD & marketing strategy and team business plans.
Typical Duties
- Responsible for internal and external event coordination, including planning of events, pre and post event communications, creation of invitations, booking venues and liaising with third parties where appropriate, and overall event strategy, ensuring all events are run effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain internal events calendar ensuring all event details are captured.
- Assist with all on‑site event support including event set up and takedown, meeting and greeting, production of name badges and coordinating event materials.
- Gather feedback and conduct post event evaluations to measure success and ROI.
- Coordinate the design and production of promotional marketing materials internally and with third‑party agencies.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
- Liaise with external agencies, designers, and suppliers as required.
- Support PR & communications across the firm to deliver strong and effective internal & external communication that is timely, engaging and relevant.
- Support digital marketing activity, including website updates, social media content and email campaigns.
- Support with compiling information for reports to review effectiveness of social campaigns.
- Assist with market and client research to identify opportunities for targeted marketing and events.
- Maintain a variety of marketing & BD databases, providing regular updates, correct segmentation and accurate recording of internal and external referrals.
- Support all departments, divisions, sectors and branches in their marketing activity.
- General support to the BD & marketing team.
Essential
- 1+ years’ experience in marketing and/or events.
- A valid driving licence and access to a car, as you will be required to travel to different sites and locations.
Desired
- Experience within the legal sector or professional services.
Qualifications / Technical Competencies
- A business marketing or events related degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms).
- Experience using software in areas such as social media scheduling and email marketing campaigns.
- Desired experience in design software such as Figma and Canva.
