An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading Out of Home media owners for an experienced Client Partner to lead its Retail category strategy. This is a high-profile, strategic commercial role, ideal for someone with an outstanding network across major retail brands and media agencies. You'll play a key role in shaping category growth, influencing senior decision-makers and developing innovative solutions that demonstrate the value of Out of Home advertising.
Working within a highly respected commercial team, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on client engagement to drive revenue growth across some of the UK's biggest retail advertisers.
The Role
As Client Partner, you'll own the Retail category strategy, identifying market trends, uncovering new commercial opportunities and developing tailored solutions that help clients achieve their marketing objectives. You'll build strong relationships with senior client and agency stakeholders, lead strategic workshops, contribute to major pitches and collaborate across multiple commercial teams to maximise opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Retail category.
- Build and strengthen relationships with leading retail advertisers and their agency partners.
- Create strategic account plans that drive long-term revenue growth.
- Lead client workshops, presentations and category planning sessions.
- Identify emerging trends and translate them into commercial opportunities.
- Support major pitches and proactive business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated commercial solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the Retail sector.
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline and account plans.
About You
You'll be an experienced media sales professional with a strong understanding of the retail landscape and an established network of senior client and agency contacts. You'll also have:
- Around 10+ years' experience within media sales, agency, media owner or client-side.
- Strong relationships across major retail advertisers and agencies.
- A proven track record of growing revenue and influencing media investment.
- Excellent commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Outstanding presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to spot opportunities beyond the immediate brief.
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to work across multiple teams.
- Experience within Retail Media or Out of Home would be highly advantageous, although candidates from broader media backgrounds with strong retail relationships will also be considered.
