We are hiring a Principal Recruitment Consultant to work directly with our portfolio of Tier 1 VC-backed startups, owning technical hiring mandates across Cloud, Data and AI. This is a senior, high-impact individual contributor role for an experienced recruiter who thrives on building deep relationships with founders, engineering leaders and elite technical talent. You will lead complex, high-stakes searches and help our clients scale the teams that power their products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles across Cloud, Data and AI for a portfolio of Tier 1 VC-backed startups and high-growth companies.
- Partner closely with founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering and hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements, culture and growth plans.
- Source, engage and assess elite engineering talent (permanent and contingent) using a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
- Manage the full search lifecycle: briefing, market mapping, candidate development, interviewing coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding support.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record as a successful recruitment consultant with experience placing technical talent into startups or technology companies.
- Strong domain knowledge or demonstrable interest in Cloud, Data, AI, DevOps/SRE, Platform Engineering, Machine Learning or related fields.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging at founder and senior engineering leadership level.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a genuine desire to make an impact in a specialist, high-performance environment.
