About The Role
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, and service-focused legal professional to undertake a pivotal hybrid role combining senior PA support to an Equity Partner with leadership and coordination of legal support services within our Commercial team. This newly innovated position, based in our Worcester office, would suit an experienced PA, Legal Team Leader, or Legal Support Manager who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders while also taking responsibility for workflow coordination, people management, and operational excellence within a busy legal environment. You will act as a trusted right‑hand support to the Head of Team and Equity Partner, while ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative and business support across the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior PA & Partner Support
- Full diary management, anticipating priorities and managing ever‑changing demands
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries professionally and confidentially
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents through word‑processing and audio typing
- Draft, format and proofread letters, documents, and forms
- Legal Support Management & Team Leadership
- Day‑to‑day management and coordination of legal support staff within the team
- Lead appraisals, coaching, development discussions, and performance management
- Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new support staff
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performing and service‑driven team culture
- Workflow, Operations & Compliance
- Oversee and coordinate workflow across the team to ensure effective support to fee earners
- Manage case files including opening, closing, storage and retrieval
- Ensure full compliance with file management and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and support key initiatives such as Paperlite, file compliance and AI implementation
- Financial & Client Support
- Active involvement in monthly fee estimation, billing, and related processes
- Ensure consistently high standards of client care and service delivery
