We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, service focussed individual to fulfil a crucial role within our Dispute Resolution Team. We are open to this role being a part time or full time position, even working around typical school hours. Based in our Cambridge office, you will be responsible for the day to day admin support to fee earners in the team.
Responsibilities of a Legal Support Assistant include:
- Undertaking routine administrative tasks for the team, including, but not limited to file opening, onboarding, file management and billing.
- Manage the full file closing process efficiently.
- Supporting the archiving process, liaising with the Operations team.
- Assisting with printing, copying and scanning of documentation accurately.
- Assisting with audio digital dictation as and when required.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a professional environment (preferred, but not essential)
- Experience in a client-facing role and a professional manner (preferred but not essential)
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Teams, and Zoom
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team
