Do you enjoy a fast-paced working environment and thrive on delivering an exceptional level of service? If so, a role in our Real Estate Finance team could be perfect for you. We are looking for a 3-5 PQE Associate to join either our Cardiff, Cheltenham, Worcester, Birmingham, Leamington Spa or Thames Valley office in Reading. This role would suit you if you come from a Real Estate Finance background, or you have had some exposure to real estate finance work through a broader commercial property role.
The team covers every aspect of a real estate deal, advising lenders and borrowers on loans related to property sales and acquisitions, and they help to finance property development and refinance existing debt. The team works with all kinds of lenders, including mainstream banks, bridging loan companies, challenger banks, peer-to-peer lenders, and individual borrowers.
What we need you to do:
- Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of real estate finance.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within real estate finance, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
- Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.
About You
You will need:
- 3-5 PQE
- Some exposure to real estate finance, this could be whilst working in a broader real estate role
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
- The ability to work largely unsupervised and manage your own files.
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
- To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
- To have strong commercial acumen
- To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
