This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer to join our brand-new London office.
About The Role
Across the firm, the team is 29 strong, led by 7 market leading Partners. The team acts for insolvency practitioners, lenders, companies, directors, and creditors undertaking a mixture of restructuring work, with the focus being on businesses surviving and maximising realisations for creditors. We are now looking for a Senior Associate or Legal Director to work closely with the Partner in our London team, and focus predominantly on contentious insolvency work.
What we need you to do:
- Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of Restructuring and Insolvency.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within Restructuring and Insolvency, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
- Contribute to business development opportunities and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing and cross selling.
- Support and train junior members of the team.
About You
We are looking for:
- 6+ years or more PQE.
- A solid grounding in contentious restructuring and insolvency.
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships.
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
- Teamwork and relationship building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail.
