We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join one of our school catering teams. The position will be responsible for preparing a variety of food and dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of food and dishes in a high‑volume, term‑time setting.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for hygiene, health and safety, and food quality.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
  • Proven craft skills and a passion for fresh food.

Working Hours:

  • 25 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 09:00‑14:00, term‑time only.

Competitive salary. Term‑time contract of 52 weeks.
