Job Description
Harrison Bridge has been retained by Centreco to search for its future Managing Director.
Centreco is the UK’s leading commercial solar energy installation business. It became part of Certas Energy, a division of DCC plc, in July 2023. This acquisition marked the first for a newly created renewable division and is a key driver supporting its B2B customer base and broader energy transition aspirations.
Centreco has experienced phenomenal commercial growth, expanding from a new business in 2014 to a £30 million revenue enterprise by 2024, with strong profits and 145 installations per annum.
To achieve its future growth aspirations, the business now requires a new Managing Director to drive further expansion, whilst operating with the corporate rigour necessary to function within a FTSE 100 group.
It is essential for candidates to have previous experience of leading businesses, or large business units, that deliver capital projects to industrial and commercial customers.
Remit to include:
- People: Lead an engaged workforce with a result driven, safety first culture.
- Customer: Ensure effective representation to customers and the industry, in order to meet growth targets and maintain a sector leading reputation.
- Efficiency: Implement defined operational and sales solutions and initiatives, and identify opportunities to drive improvement through best practice.
- Strategy: Align the business and deliver change initiatives to ensure the strategic goals of Centreco and DCC Energy are met.
- Financial: Deliver key financial targets.
