Are you a recent Graduate or maybe you are recently AAT qualified? A challenging and exciting role has become available for a Graduate trainee Accountant to work in the entertainment Industry with a well-established and leading International Music firm of accountants. We want to expand our Entertainment Business management team (EBM) with an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Graduate trainee to join our successful EBM team and work towards their ACA qualification. No prior music knowledge is required but it is beneficial.

We are looking for someone to assist the Senior members of the team with the following tasks including but not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping on Xero and integration with DEXT.
  • Tour reporting and Accounting, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Artist and performer accounts.
  • Production accounts and full touring accounts including expenses and cash floats.
  • Working closely with senior management and clients.
  • Budgets and forecasts for ad-hoc shows and performer appearances.
  • Cash accounting and floats.
  • VAT and general and ad-hoc projects.

There are regular training sessions to ensure you have the skills to progress your career.

The role also offers full study support towards the ACA qualification – note as this role is within the Entertainment business management department you will not be required to work on Audit.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and can report and present financial information to senior finance people as well as creative/non-finance individuals. It is key the candidate has a passion for the music industry and live music.
