Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park is a school at the heart of Peckham, full of energy, ambition and community spirit. Each day, our children arrive with curiosity and hope, and our families place great trust in us. We honour that trust by ensuring every child feels safe, happy and respected.
We are proudly diverse, serving our local community with families who speak over 20 languages. This richness is one of our greatest strengths. Diversity here is not simply something we celebrate, it is something we learn from and are shaped by. In every sense, we reflect what makes Peckham special: warmth, creativity, resilience and a strong sense of belonging.
Our work is guided by three core values: respect, responsibility and resilience. We teach children to treat others with kindness and dignity, to take pride and ownership in their learning and choices, and to persevere when things feel challenging. These values sit at the centre of our school culture and are lived every day.
We are proud of our exceptional curriculum, broad and balanced, rooted in our community and designed to expand horizons. We want children to recognise themselves in what they learn while also discovering new ideas, places and possibilities. Through carefully planned learning and sequencing, we build strong knowledge, confident reading and communication, and a love of learning, because we believe every child deserves an excellent education.
We bring this learning to life through exceptional personal development. We create opportunities that build character, confidence and aspiration, helping children to lead, collaborate and contribute. We celebrate talents, nurture potential and ensure every child feels known and valued.
