The predicted salary is between 35100 - 42900 £ per year.

We’re looking for a proactive Deputy to the Quality Manager to support and lead key quality assurance and control activities within a busy electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Audits and QMS support
  • Maintain approved supplier lists and produce monthly supplier KPIs
  • Manage supplier corrective actions and support 8D investigations
  • Assist with customer returns, complaints and compliance questionnaires
  • Support BSI and customer audits
  • Oversee calibration schedules and equipment control
  • Carry out goods-in, in-process and final inspections when required
  • Joint responsibility for onsite Health & Safety
  • Provide training and deputise for the Quality Manager, including line management

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified ISO9001:2015 Auditor
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 & EN9120:2018
  • Experience with dimensional inspection equipment
  • Manufacturing/electro-mechanical background preferred
  • Excellent communication, IT skills and attention to detail
