We’re looking for a proactive Deputy to the Quality Manager to support and lead key quality assurance and control activities within a busy electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Audits and QMS support
- Maintain approved supplier lists and produce monthly supplier KPIs
- Manage supplier corrective actions and support 8D investigations
- Assist with customer returns, complaints and compliance questionnaires
- Support BSI and customer audits
- Oversee calibration schedules and equipment control
- Carry out goods-in, in-process and final inspections when required
- Joint responsibility for onsite Health & Safety
- Provide training and deputise for the Quality Manager, including line management
Skills & Experience
- Qualified ISO9001:2015 Auditor
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 & EN9120:2018
- Experience with dimensional inspection equipment
- Manufacturing/electro-mechanical background preferred
- Excellent communication, IT skills and attention to detail
