We're really excited to be exclusively recruiting for an expanding company as they build a brand-new cabinet manufacturing team on the outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex. We're looking for an experienced Edge Bander / Panel Processing Operative to join the team from the very beginning and play an important part in establishing this new production operation.
The role
You'll be operating a Homag EdgeTec S200 edge bander, setting and adjusting the machine for different materials and ensuring finished components meet consistently high-quality standards. You'll also check components against cutting lists, carry out routine machine checks and identify any quality or production issues.
What we're looking for
- Previous edge banding / panel processing experience
- Experience using a Homag EdgeTec or comparable machine
- Good understanding of cutting lists and cabinet components
- Strong eye for quality and accuracy
- Confident setting and adjusting edge banding machinery
- Reliable and hands-on approach
- Kitchen or furniture manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
