Global Quality Director in London

Lead quality across an international manufacturing business where your influence will shape products, partners and standards worldwide.

This isn't a role where you're simply maintaining existing systems or ticking regulatory boxes.

It's an opportunity to take ownership of quality across a growing international business that manufactures both in-house and through a network of specialist manufacturing partners.

You'll be the person who sets the standard, builds the team, strengthens the systems and makes sure quality remains a competitive advantage as the business continues to grow.

You'll operate at board level while staying close enough to the detail to understand what good looks like.

Some days you'll be reviewing strategy with senior leadership; others you'll be on-site working with operational teams or visiting manufacturing partners to challenge, support and improve.

• What you'll be doing
• Setting the global quality strategy across manufacturing, supply chain and third-party partners.
• Leading and developing an experienced quality and regulatory team.
• Taking ownership of the Quality Management System and driving continuous improvement across the business.
• Building strong governance across external manufacturing partners, ensuring consistent standards regardless of where products are made.
• Leading supplier and manufacturing audits throughout the UK and internationally.
• Acting as the senior point of contact during regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Using quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, reduce risk and improve operational performance.
• Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Product teams to ensure quality is embedded from concept through to delivery.
• Supporting business growth by ensuring quality systems can scale alongside the organisation.
• Leading investigations, corrective actions and product risk management whenever required.
• What we’re looking for

We're less interested in finding someone who has worked in one very specific industry, and more interested in someone who understands how to build high-performing quality functions within GMP manufacturing environments.

• You’ll probably bring
• Senior leadership experience within quality, ideally at Head of Quality or Director level.
• Experience overseeing both internal manufacturing operations and outsourced production partners.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing and continuous improvement.
• Confidence working with regulators, certification bodies and major customers.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical risk into commercial decisions.
• A pragmatic approach that balances high standards with business reality.
• Experience developing teams and creating a positive quality culture rather than simply enforcing compliance.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and internationally.
