I’m working with a well-regarded independent school in Winchester that is looking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position, although candidates looking for approximately 0.8 may also be considered. The role is available from September 2026 or January 2027.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across the senior school, including IGCSE and A Level. Prior A Level teaching experience is not essential, as support and professional development can be provided, although experience teaching A Level or Further Mathematics would be an advantage. The Mathematics department is successful and well-established, with strong uptake at sixth form. The school follows Edexcel specifications for IGCSE and A Level, and teaching makes strong use of digital learning resources.
