Occupational Therapist – Band 5/6 (Term Time Only). Location: Edgware, London. Salary: £30,407 – £45,618 (Band 5-6 equivalent, pro rata).

About Us

The Darchei Noam Centre caters for up to 50 pupils with a broad range of SEND within a thriving mainstream school environment. Our aim is to provide a calm, structured, and supportive setting where children feel secure, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential. With onsite Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy, we deliver a truly holistic approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans as an Occupational Therapist
  • Support pupils in achieving goals set in EHCPs
  • Deliver therapy focused on sensory needs, emotional regulation, and social communication
  • Coach pupils in life and learning skills (organisation, writing, money handling)
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, reports, and EHCP reviews
  • Provide staff guidance on therapeutic strategies

Requirements

  • Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Paediatric OT and/or sensory integration experience desirable

Hours

Term time only

  • Full-time hours: Mon-Thu 8:45am-4:00pm, Fri 8:45am-12:30pm
  • Part-time considered
