Functional Skills Tutor (Maths & English) Location: Gloucester | Hours: Up to 37.5 per week We’re looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Functional Skills Tutor to join our Study Programmes team in Gloucester. You’ll be teaching young people (16–19) Maths (up to GCSE) and some English, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals. What you’ll do: * Plan and deliver engaging Maths & English sessions (Entry Level to Level 2, plus GCSE Maths). * Support learners with different abilities, including those with additional needs. * Create fun, innovative lessons that help students succeed. * Mark work, give feedback, and track progress. * Work closely with a friendly, supportive team. What we’re looking for: * Teaching qualification (L3 or above). * Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths & English (and GCSE Maths). * Good classroom management and ICT skills. * Organised, motivated and able to hit targets. * Passion for working with young people.
