Job Title: Wrap Around Care Manager (Maternity Cover) Location: Aberdeen Hours: Term time: Monday–Friday, 1.30pm–6pm (22.5 hours/week). Holiday club weeks: Monday–Friday, 7.45am–5.45pm (50 hours/week, including a paid half-hour lunch) Salary: £18,000–£24,000 FTE, dependent on experience and qualifications Contract: Temporary, maternity cover About the role: St Margaret's School for Girls — Aberdeen's only girls' school, with around 370 pupils aged 3 to 18 — is looking for an experienced Wrap Around Care Manager to lead their after school care and holiday club provision on a maternity cover basis. Reporting directly to the Head, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service for children aged 3–12: * Leading, managing and developing the wrap around care team * Planning and delivering engaging activities across after school care and holiday club sessions * Managing the departmental budget alongside the Head of Finance * Overseeing bookings, registers and family liaison * Completing risk assessments and all Care Inspectorate paperwork, ensuring the service meets statutory requirements About you: This is a leadership post, not an entry-level position. You will have: * SSSC registration meeting Practitioner standards (Day Care of Children) * Proven, current experience leading a team in an early years or day care setting * Current PVG Scheme membership * Experience managing a budget and Care Inspectorate paperwork is highly desirable * A degree in Childhood Practice (or equivalent SCQF Level 9 qualification) is desirable but not essential Benefits: * Support staff pension scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * 30% fee remission for staff children (pro-rata)
