Harris Hill are delighted to be working exclusively with Animal Equality UK. Animal Equality is an international organisation working with society, governments and companies to end cruelty to farmed animals. They are now searching for a Philanthropy Specialist to join their team. The role plays a major part in meeting the organisation's ambitious fundraising goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing major giving and grants portfolios.
  • Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding financial support from generous individuals and granting bodies.

Terms of employment:

  • Part-time, Permanent
  • Reports to: Executive Director, Animal Equality UK
  • Position location: Remote, in the UK (mandatory to travel to London once a month, at own cost)
  • Hours: 28 hours per week (four days weekly)
  • Compensation: £37,000-£40,000 (at 28 hours per week)

  • A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising, either in trusts fundraising or major donor fundraising.
  • A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
  • A passion for animals and the treatment of animals.
