About the Role

You will support the planning, delivery, and optimisation of individual giving campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels over an initial 3-month contract, with possible temp-to-perm employment.

Working closely with fundraising and data teams, you’ll help ensure campaigns are insight-led, donor-focused, and aligned to income targets.

Your work will directly impact donor retention, acquisition, and overall supporter engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver individual giving campaigns across mail, email, and digital channels to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Create and adapt compelling copy and content for fundraising appeals, newsletters, and supporter journeys.
  • Coordinate campaign production, including briefing designers, liaising with external suppliers, and managing approvals.
  • Set up and schedule email and digital campaigns, ensuring accurate segmentation and personalisation.
  • Monitor campaign performance using data and analytics tools, producing clear reports and recommendations.
  • Support donor stewardship activity, including tailored communications to improve retention and lifetime value.
  • Maintain accurate campaign records and supporter information in relevant databases and tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with wider fundraising activity.
  • Key Requirements
  • Experience in individual giving or direct marketing within a charity or similar fundraising environment.
  • Proven track record in planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns (mail, email, digital) to drive response and income.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
  • Confident using data to segment audiences, inform campaign decisions, and interpret results.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms and basic digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in campaign setup, testing, and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and communicate clearly with stakeholders and suppliers.
