Young Enterprise is looking for an exceptional income generation leader who can build on strong foundations while bringing the commercial thinking, ambition and creativity needed to take their income strategy to the next level.
What the role entails:
Reporting to the CEO and joining the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead a team of around 15, developing and delivering an ambitious, diversified income strategy. You will support and develop the team, while bringing fresh thinking and identifying new opportunities for growth. A key focus will be new business and income growth, so they are looking for someone with a strong, evidenced track record of growing income, developing new opportunities and turning compelling propositions into sustainable revenue. You will be a strategic and credible senior leader, confident operating at Board level, presenting on performance and future direction, and contributing to wider organisational strategy. Entrepreneurial and outward-looking, you will combine strategic thinking with a strong instinct for new business, building senior relationships and turning market opportunities into new partnerships and income.
You will bring:
- A strong track record of evidenced income growth at a senior level.
- Significant experience of new business, income generation, fundraising or business development.
- Experience developing and delivering multi-channel income strategies, with demonstrable success in securing significant six- and seven-figure relationships.
- The ability to lead, motivate, support and develop a sizeable team, including through periods of change.
- Credibility and presence at executive and Board level, including the confidence to present, influence and challenge.
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to work across an organisation to turn ideas into compelling, fundable propositions.
- Confidence building external relationships and operating across UK and European markets.
