Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting one of the UK's most recognised children's charities in the search for a Salesforce Senior Technical Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that has been protecting children and supporting families for over a century, using innovation, technology and data to help deliver life‑changing services.

As the organisation continues to invest in its digital transformation, this newly created role will lead the development of its in‑house Salesforce capability, taking ownership of a business‑critical platform that underpins fundraising, supporter engagement and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Platforms, you will provide technical leadership for the Salesforce platform, ensuring it remains secure, scalable and aligned with organisational priorities.

You will lead the design, configuration and ongoing optimisation of Salesforce, working closely with product owners, business stakeholders and delivery partners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

The role will also involve establishing governance, release management and platform standards, overseeing integrations and data quality, monitoring platform performance, and acting as the senior technical authority for Salesforce across the organisation.

As the internal capability grows, you will mentor administrators and super‑users while driving best practice and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional with a strong track record of leading platform design, governance and development within a complex organisation.

You will have in‑depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, data models, Flows and Lightning App Builder, alongside experience of release management, sandbox environments, integrations and platform security.

Equally important are your communication and stakeholder management skills—you will be confident translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences and building strong relationships across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, enjoys solving complex challenges and is motivated by using technology to support an organisation making a genuine difference to children's lives.

If you're ready to take ownership of a major Salesforce platform while contributing to a mission that has a lasting social impact, we'd love to hear from you.

To apply, please submit your up‑to‑date CV and cover letter by 27 July 2026 at 11:59 AM.

Please note, only successful applicants will be contacted with further information.

As a leading charity recruitment specialist and a certified B Corp™, Harris Hill is committed to high and ever‑improving standards of equitable and inclusive recruitment.
