I am delighted to be working with a values-driven charity seeking an experienced Interim Supported Housing Manager to lead a specialist women’s homelessness service in Surrey. This is an opportunity to oversee a psychologically informed, trauma-responsive supported housing community delivering high-quality accommodation and holistic support to women facing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
The service supports residents to rebuild stability, wellbeing, independence, and community connection through personalised support and strong partnership working. You will provide operational leadership across the service, managing day-to-day delivery, staff performance, safeguarding, compliance, housing management, and service development.
- Leading the operational management of a supported housing service
- Managing staff performance, supervision, recruitment, and development
- Overseeing safeguarding, risk management, health & safety, and compliance
- Monitoring budgets, expenditure, and service performance
- Developing partnership working with housing providers and external agencies
- Supporting positive move-on outcomes and sustainable housing pathways
- Embedding psychologically informed and resident-led practice throughout the service
Experience required:
- Managing supported housing or homelessness services
- Knowledge of safeguarding, housing management, and support delivery
- Leading teams within supported living, homelessness, or social care settings
- The ability to manage operational pressures while maintaining high-quality service delivery
- Excellent stakeholder and partnership-building skills
- Experience supporting women experiencing homelessness or multiple disadvantage would be highly advantageous.
