Lead fundraising events that make a real difference. We're recruiting on behalf of a leading national charity for an experienced Senior Events Manager to join its fundraising team on a 9-month maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a portfolio of high-profile fundraising events, manage an Events Executive, and help develop new fundraising initiatives that deliver an exceptional supporter experience.
The Role
- Take responsibility for planning and delivering fundraising events from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve participation and fundraising targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of fundraising events.
- Manage budgets, timelines, suppliers and event logistics.
- Drive participant recruitment and maximise fundraising income.
- Build strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and stakeholders.
- Deliver engaging supporter communications across multiple channels.
- Line manage and support the Events Executive.
- Identify opportunities to improve event performance and processes.
About You
- Experience managing fundraising or large-scale events.
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and event management or CRM systems.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
