Harris Hill is delighted to be working with a leading UK children’s charity to recruit a Due Diligence Executive to join their Fundraising & Engagement function.
Location: Hybrid (London-based)
Salary: £27,845 - £28,430 (being in the office twice a week) £24,979 - £25,564 (home-working)
Contract: Permanent
Sitting within a compliance and business management team, you will deliver high-quality due diligence research on prospective donors, corporate partners, and public representatives. Your work will directly inform decision-making on partnerships, helping to ensure ethical alignment and mitigate reputational risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough due diligence research using a range of external sources
- Analyse and present findings in clear, well-structured written reports
- Identify potential reputational and ethical risks in line with organisational policies
- Support decision-making on donations, partnerships, and public affiliations
- Maintain accurate and compliant records on internal systems
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external research providers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of due diligence processes and resources
About You
We are looking for someone with strong analytical and research skills, who is comfortable working with complex information and communicating findings to a range of audiences. You will bring:
- Experience conducting research and producing written reports to deadline
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to interpret and present complex information clearly
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience using databases and Microsoft Office tools
- An understanding of risk, compliance, or due diligence (desirable)
