Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Learning Experience Designer to join our client on an initial 3 month contract. This role will require 3 days per week onsite in London and will be inside IR35.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging digital and blended learning experiences for employees across a global organisation.
  • Create interactive online learning content using a range of authoring and creative tools, including platforms such as Articulate Storyline, Elucidat, Adobe Creative Cloud and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective learning solutions and user-focused learning journeys.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of the organisation's learning platform to improve user experience and learner engagement.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies and learning science principles to create impactful, learner centred content.
  • Use learner feedback, analytics and performance data to evaluate effectiveness and continuously improve learning materials.
  • Manage the full life cycle of learning content, from initial concept and development through to updates and retirement.
  • Ensure all learning materials are accessible, engaging and aligned with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in digital learning, educational technology and instructional design, sharing best practice across the team.
  • Support and guide colleagues on effective use of learning technologies and online learning tools.
  • C curate and source external learning resources aligned to organisational and professional development needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in instructional design, learning experience design or digital learning development.
  • Strong understanding of online learning principles, adult learning methodologies and learner engagement techniques.
  • Experience designing and delivering digital, blended and virtual learning programmes.
  • Proficiency with E-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Elucidat and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with learning management systems such as Moodle, Docebo or similar platforms.
  • Ability to interpret learning analytics and data to inform design decisions and measure learning effectiveness.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions.
  • Highly organised with strong project management and time management capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving learner experiences.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and remotely.
  • A background in education or teaching would be advantageous.
  • Passion for learning, innovation and continuous professional development.
