Hybrid Cloud Engineer in London

We're looking for an experienced Hybrid Cloud Engineer to join a collaborative infrastructure team supporting and developing a complex hybrid IT environment. The role will have a strong focus on AWS or Azure and cloud migration, helping to transition on premise infrastructure into the cloud while ensuring existing platforms remain secure, resilient and reliable.
You'll work across AWS, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory and Entra ID, supporting both day to day infrastructure operations and longer term transformation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, deploying and supporting AWS or Azure infrastructure and services
Supporting the migration of on premise workloads into AWS
Managing Windows Server, VMware and Active Directory environments
Supporting hybrid identity solutions using Active Directory and Entra ID
Maintaining infrastructure availability, performance, security and resilience
Automating infrastructure and operational processes using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar technologies
Supporting networking and connectivity between cloud and on-premise environments
Working collaboratively with infrastructure, security, networking and wider technology teams
Providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing and support to colleagues
Participating in an out of hours on call rota
You'll have strong hands on infrastructure experience, ideally including:
AWS and hybrid cloud environments
Windows Server and VMware
Active Directory and Entra ID
Cloud migration and infrastructure transformation
Infrastructure automation/Infrastructure as Code
Hybrid networking and connectivity
Infrastructure security and hardening
Monitoring, resilience and operational best practice
Enterprise backup technologies such as Veeam
NetApp ONTAP and/or Cisco UCS would be advantageous
