Harris Global are currently on the lookout for an IT Trainer to join our global client on an initial 6 month daily rate contract. This role will require 2-3 days per week onsite in Edinburgh initially with global travel also required. The successful candidate will have experience delivering training on ERP platforms, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central and will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver engaging training programmes for end users across ERP and business applications.
- Deliver instructor-led, virtual and one-to-one training sessions to users of varying technical abilities.
- Create and maintain training materials, user guides, E-learning content and supporting documentation.
- Support the rollout and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central solutions across the organisation.
- Work closely with project teams, business stakeholders and system owners to understand training requirements.
- Identify knowledge gaps and recommend training solutions to improve user capability and system utilisation.
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives during system implementations and upgrades.
- Gather feedback from users and continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
- Provide post-go-live support and coaching to ensure successful system adoption.
- Travel internationally to deliver training and support users across global locations.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as an IT Trainer, Systems Trainer or Application Trainer.
- Strong experience delivering training on ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous.
- Ability to create engaging training materials and user documentation.
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or digital transformation programmes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and different training methodologies.
- Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
