Small Works Manager in Bristol

Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Small Works Manager to join our client on a permanent basis. You will oversee a range of roofing projects and planned maintenance works, typically up to £10k in value. This role is ideal for someone organised, hands-on with experience working with RAMS.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating works from start to finish, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, on time and to a good standard, while working closely with operatives, subcontractors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and oversee small roofing works and planned maintenance projects (up to £10k)

* Prepare, review and manage RAMS for all works

* Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors

* Carry out site visits and ensure health & safety standards are met

* Track progress, resolve issues on site and ensure smooth delivery

* Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders as needed

Skills & Experience

* Experience managing small works, maintenance, working within construction or managing small projects is a nice to have but not a must have

* Good organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities

* Confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors and clients

* Construction experience is preferred but not essential – we’re open to candidates from related backgrounds with the right mindset
