Harris Global are currently looking for an Audio Visual Engineer to join our client on an initial 3 month contract. You'll be working alongside an existing AV Engineer, supporting users across meeting rooms and conferencing environments during an exciting period of change. The successful engineer will provide AV support with a strong focus on customer service and user experience.
Our client's current meeting room setup includes large displays with Poly units, where users connect their laptops via provided cabling. They are also mid migration to a Cisco conferencing solution, so you'll play a key role in supporting and troubleshooting both environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day AV support across meeting rooms and collaboration spaces
- Troubleshoot user issues related to video conferencing, audio, displays and connectivity
- Assist with meeting room and conferencing setup prior to meetings
- Support the ongoing migration from Poly-based setups to Cisco conferencing systems
- Work closely with users to ensure a smooth, professional meeting experience
- Escalate and document issues where appropriate
- Proven experience in an AV/Audio Visual Engineer role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Hands-on experience supporting meeting room technology and conferencing systems
- Familiarity with Poly conferencing equipment
- Experience with Cisco conferencing solutions (or similar) highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a user-facing, fast-paced environment
This role will require 5 days per week onsite in Central London and will also be inside IR35.
