In the land domain, our T7 and T4 multi‑mission robots deliver next‑generation remote capabilities and uncompromised performance. We design and manufacture world‑leading land force protection systems, cyber and electromagnetic activities (CEMA), electronic warfare (EW) and encryption capabilities. What the role will involve
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented engineer to provide quality service and repair across our UK and Canadian division, WESCAM, both on‑site at European customer locations and at our Tewkesbury HQ.
The most important objective for this role is to provide quality service and repair of airborne surveillance turrets across the WESCAM product portfolio, as well as support first class training and demo support to a diverse customer base.

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and electronic faults to resolve issues quickly and effectively – both on‑site at customer locations and at our Tewkesbury HQ
- Install device software and firmware in accordance with instructions
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support customer needs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate service records, including reports on maintenance activities, service calls, and inventory management
- Document Non‑Conformances (NCR’s)
- Participate in/lead customer demos and training
- Provide regular status reports and update documentation as required
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Proven experience in field service engineering or a similar role, ideally within the aviation or manufacturing sector
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering
- Strong Electro‑Mechanical background and troubleshooting techniques
- The ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Competent in the use of hand tools, wiring and soldering to IPC standard
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites
