We\’re looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer who can design, implement, and operate the network and security estate here at L3Harris. You\’ll bring experience, drive, enthusiasm, and a passion for technology.

What the role will involveThe responsibilities of your role will include the following:

Operate within an Agile environment

Provide technical leadership within a collaborative team

Contribute to the wider team to design, implement and operate secure networking capabilities

Proactively maintain the network and security hardware, applications, and services

Respond to incidents, requests and troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues

Implement planned Change across all the devices and services under the management of the team

Respond to emergency situations and perform effective troubleshooting during major incidents as required

High degree of documentation skills, for creating and maintaining design and operational documentation, Change documentation, Runbooks, Test plans and any other operational documentation as required

Management of Control, Audit and Risk routines

Participate in the team on-call rota

What you\’ll bringThe role requires the following experience and skills:

Strong knowledge of all round infrastructure technologies

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to respond to shifting priorities, and to work efficiently under pressure

Significant experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama in a global environment

Hold a PCNSE or PCCSE certification or equivalent in experience

Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent experience.

High level of understanding and experience with OSPF and BGP

Micro-segmentation principles and technologies

Zero Trust principles

Experience with Wireshark or other packet capture tools to analyze traffic

Significant experience troubleshooting voice and video network traffic

Experience with M&A activities across network and security services

Experience of Clearpass and/or other NAC solutions

Experience with multiple connectivity technologies including DIA, MPLS and DWDM

Experience with wireless technologies

Strong communication and presentation skills

Passionate in creating a collaborative, caring and safe environment for all teammates to succeed
