About Us

Through a broad and challenging curriculum, expert teaching and rich opportunities beyond the classroom, we seek to make those words a reality for every student. When Ofsted visited the academy, inspectors recognised many of the qualities on which we continue to build: students who enjoy learning, treat one another and adults with respect, and benefit from an ambitious curriculum and high expectations. A strong sense of belonging is fundamental to this. We want every student to feel safe, known and valued, while understanding that being part of our community also brings high expectations. Every young person should feel that they belong here and that their success matters. We are proud of the reputation Harris Academy Billericay enjoys within our local community and of the trust families place in us. Many members of staff choose to send their own children here, which speaks powerfully about their belief in the academy. Our responsibility is to build on these strengths while continuing to ask how we can be even better for the young people we serve.
