Responsible for high-quality administrative and coordination support to senior leaders and oversight of premises teams across primary academies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior leaders, managing priorities, meetings and events.
- Lead the premises team: recruitment, performance management, training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with Federation software.
- Oversee building maintenance, ensuring premises managers maximise productivity, maintain academy buildings, and uphold health, safety, security and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, procurement, service level agreements, large building projects and a range of events.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and requirements, and training in Health and Safety.
- Training/experience in plumbing, ground maintenance, electrical/building maintenance or heating systems.
- Knowledge of heating, ventilating systems operation and common causes of malfunctions.
- Knowledge of maintenance, security systems and procurement procedures for service level agreements.
- Supervisory skills and experience managing premises staff.
- Understanding of cleaning methods and standards.
- Experience in an inner-city school or educational establishment with children and young people.
- Experience managing budgets, obtaining best value for money, and managing large building projects and events.
- Experience dealing with external contractors.
