Director of Business Development – Global CRO (UK Focus, Remote)
A leading full-service CRO, recognized for delivering high-quality clinical development solutions across Phases I–IV, is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead growth across biotech and pharmaceutical clients in the UK.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, and representing the organization’s premium service offering to UK sponsors. Working remotely, you’ll collaborate with operational and scientific experts to design tailored solutions that deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve UK revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical decision-makers.
- Manage opportunities across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Partner with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Represent the company at UK-based industry events and client meetings.
About You
- 2–6+ years’ business development/sales experience within a full-service CRO environment.
- Proven track record in securing new business and growing accounts within the UK market.
