The Role
- To support & manage a group of sub contract Service Partner companies
- To manage the relationships with these Service Partners & to monitor their performance against various KPIs
- To identify training needs at the various Service Partners
- To provide the appropriate training to the various Service Partners
- To accompany Service Engineers from the various Service Partners on field/customer visits
The Person
- Must have a technical background & have provided a Repair/Maintenance service either on behalf of an OEM or working for a Third Party Provider
- Should have worked as an Engineer or Service Manager within one of the following industries β Refrigeration, gas industry, HVAC, restaurant equipment/catering, automotive, oil & gas, lift truck/heavy equipment, production line equipment (in maintenance and repairs).
- Must have an understanding of Electrical Wiring Diagrams
- Must have an understanding of the basics of a gas system/gas based appliances
- Has used diagnostic instruments such as multimeter & gas pressure gauges
- Ideally have a Formal Gas Certification eg Comcat 1,2,3,4 or Comcat 5
- Technical Manager/Leader with hands on experience, or a Senior Engineer
- Ideally some experience managing sub contract Service Engineers
