  • Very strong in supplying Contract Caterers, Hotels, Restaurants, Gastropubs, Pubs and general hospitality
  • Innovative and expanding product range

The Role

  • To manage a portfolio of foodservice national accounts
  • Accounts will cover a variety of channels – major contract caterers, hotel groups, restaurant groups, pub groups, visitor attractions, holiday parks etc
  • Full NAM responsibility incorporating joint business planning, relationship development, head office contract negotiations, promotional strategies, working with “grass roots” salespeople to ensure effective product pull through
  • Classic account management of key/national foodservice accounts as well as developing new business with major foodservice accounts
  • Outstanding career development opportunities within this diverse & rapidly expanding food business

The Person

  • A proven Foodservice Key or National Account Manager
  • Strong experience dealing with major foodservice end user accounts at head office/senior level
  • Any food category considered.
  • Experience working with grass roots salespeople to ensure effective product pull through
  • Proven Key/National Accounts experience strategically managing existing accounts but also with an eye for new business – can spot potential key/national account opportunities
  • Can be from a Foodservice Manufacturing or Foodservice Wholesale background
  • Very hands on approach – used to working for an SME where there is a lot more autonomy and the requirement to get involved in all areas of the business to ensure effective national account results
  • Living – flexible really. South East would be ideal but not essential
