We have high expectations of all members of the school community, reflected in our consistently high student performance at GCSE, progression to post 16 study at our sixth form, and then on to some of the best universities in the country.

The academy has excellent facilities including a state-of-the-art Design Technology room equipped with laser cutter and 3D Printers, Food room, and a newly laid sports field to ensure all year-round sporting opportunities.
We are looking for an outstanding leader to join us as Assistant Principal, specialising in Maths or Science. You will support the strategic and operational management, development, and leadership of Harris Academy Beulah Hill, ensuring the achievement of our ethos, aims, and objectives.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Create a true learning institution in the academy at all levels.
- Play a major role in formulating the aims, objectives, and shared vision of the academy.
- Lead the development and maintenance of a high-quality positive learning environment.
- Take full responsibility for all aspects of teaching and learning in your key area of responsibility.
- Ensure high-quality teaching across the academy.
- Work with colleagues to ensure data is used effectively and consistently.
- Support staff in making sure high-quality intervention programmes are in place.
- Raise students’ aspirations and achievement.
- Establish and maintain the highest possible standards of behaviour, learning, and attainment.
- Coordinate the activities of staff and lead them in an appropriate manner.
What We Are Looking For:
- QTS (or equivalent) and a good undergraduate degree.
- Extensive teaching experience and outstanding teaching practice.
- Successful management experience as Head of Department or member of the SLT.
- A proven track record of managing and implementing change in relation to teaching practices and standards.
