A fast-growing global enterprise SaaS business is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to join its Customer Solutions & Success team. This is an opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. This role sits between Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success, acting as the technical expert throughout the sales lifecycle. You will work closely with enterprise clients, delivering product demonstrations, technical workshops and Proof of Concepts to showcase the value of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations to enterprise clients and senior stakeholders
- Work closely with Sales teams to support the full sales lifecycle from discovery through to solution design
- Understand client requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
- Lead and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical workshops
- Support RFP/RFI responses and provide technical consultation during bid processes
- Position solutions effectively against competitor offerings
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical advisor
- Support key accounts through Technical Account Management activities
- Represent the business at client meetings, conferences and industry events
Key Requirements
- Experience in Customer Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering environments
- Exposure to Application Performance Monitoring (APM), observability or AIOps technologies
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Geneos, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Nagios or similar platforms
- Understanding of cloud environments, microservices, infrastructure monitoring or digital experience monitoring
- Linux and/or Windows administration knowledge
- Scripting or programming experience such as Python, Shell scripting or Java
- Basic networking and database knowledge
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial services or capital markets experience is advantageous
