An established, fast-growing RegTech SaaS business is expanding its commercial focus in Beneficial Ownership Monitoring and Shareholding Disclosure.
This is a high-impact, specialist sales role for someone already selling BoM solutions who wants to step out of being “one of many” and into a recognised subject-matter expert position, directly influencing senior leadership and product direction.
The role has opened urgently to capture Q1 market demand, with a deliberately tight brief and a highly targeted search.
The Role
This is a pure new business sales role, focused on winning and expanding BoM mandates across buy-side and sell-side financial institutions.
You’ll own deals end-to-end, working with senior compliance, legal, regulatory change and operations stakeholders. Once business is won, accounts are handed into a dedicated customer success function.
You’ll also act as a BoM specialist internally, helping shape go-to-market strategy, pricing conversations and CEO-level decision making as this offering scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and close new BoM / Shareholding Disclosure opportunities
- Build and maintain a high-quality, forecastable pipeline
- Sell into asset managers, hedge funds, banks and investment firms
- Operate confidently across multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments
- Support upsell opportunities within existing client relationships
- Contribute market intelligence, competitor insight and product feedback
- Collaborate closely with senior sales leadership and customer success
This role has a non-negotiable prerequisite, which significantly narrows the candidate pool:
- Proven experience selling Beneficial Ownership Monitoring / Shareholding Disclosure solutions
- Strong understanding of ownership thresholds, disclosure regimes and regulatory obligations
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders across compliance and regulatory functions
- RegTech experience is highly advantageous.
Who This Suits
- A senior BD professional already operating in BoM
- Someone currently under-recognised despite strong domain expertise
- A salesperson ready to step into a clear SME position with visibility and influence
- Candidates slightly more senior than the title will be considered if BoM experience is strong
Compensation & Structure
- Base salary: £70,000–£80,000 (top end of internal benchmarks)
- Commission: Uncapped, based on total deal value
- Year 1 OTE: ~1.5x base
- Year 2 potential: ~2x base for consistent performers
