Role Responsibilities
- System Management: Monitor and manage AWS-focused systems and infrastructure.
- Platform Operations: Build and maintain a platform for cloud and on-premise application provisioning and operation.
- Configuration and Maintenance: Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, software, and infrastructure tools.
- CI/CD Development: Develop a continuous integration and deployment platform integrated with development tools.
- Developer Experience: Enhance developer experience in cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
- Policy and Guidelines: Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and CI/CD processes.
- Automation: Implement workflow and toolchain improvements for task automation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a professional Platform Engineering role.
- Cloud Proficiency: Securely deploy and manage AWS or Azure applications, with cloud-native tooling and security best practices.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python.
- Docker Proficiency: Experience with Docker containerization for software deployment and scalability.
- CI/CD Expertise: Automate software build, test, and deployment pipelines following agile methodologies.
- Terraform Exposure: Beneficial experience with Terraform.
- Observability Tools: Experience with Grafana and Splunk is beneficial, particularly in developing and applying an observability strategy across a large organization.
