Performance Test Lead β Remote β Β£95k
Our client is seeking a strategic Performance Test Lead to define and grow their Performance Testing function. This fully remote role involves shaping testing strategy, architecting test environments, and ensuring enterprise-scale performance objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead performance testing strategy across applications, APIs, and databases
- Design and maintain high-fidelity performance test environments
- Develop and execute load, stress, and soak tests
- Mentor and guide teams on performance testing best practices
- Analyse results and provide actionable insights for tuning applications and infrastructure
Qualifications
- 10+ years in performance testing enterprise applications
- 8+ years in a lead role, 4+ years in management
- Hands-on experience with JMeter, BlazeMeter, K6, Kibana, Cloudflare
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep
- Proven experience testing web services, APIs, web UIs, and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- Ability to drive initiatives independently and influence senior stakeholders
