PeopleSoft Developer – Financial Systems

£500–£850 per day | Inside IR35 | 6–12 Month Contract London | Hybrid Working (2–3 days on site)

You’ll be working in a high-performing Financial Systems team within a global financial services firm, owning the technical development of PeopleSoft Financials and related reporting tools. This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll contribute to both long-term projects and daily operational support, all within a fast-paced change environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering PeopleSoft development projects using Agile methodology
  • Owning major development initiatives, ensuring quality, speed, and impact
  • Supporting and enhancing PeopleSoft Financials modules
  • Using tools like PeopleCode, Application Designer, SQR, BI Publisher and nVision
  • Delivering process improvements and better reporting across finance and operations
  • Advising on technical best practices, system enhancements, and controls
  • Providing ad hoc support and occasional emergency or bank holiday cover
  • Supporting other databases and finance-related systems as part of the broader tech stack

What you’ll need:

  • Strong experience with PeopleTools – Application Designer, PeopleCode, App Engine, Component Interface
  • Hands-on experience in core PeopleSoft Financials modules
  • Skilled in reporting tools: SQR, nVision, SQL, BI Publisher
  • Confident working under pressure, with clear prioritisation and time management
  • Strong analytical mindset and the ability to influence technical direction
  • Excellent communication skills – able to engage across business and finance teams
  • Comfortable working independently in a delivery-focused environment
