We are working with a leading fintech at the forefront of real-time payments and financial infrastructure, supporting global banks and institutions as they modernise their payment capabilities. They are seeking a Strategy Consultant to help define and execute their new markets and growth strategy, identifying where to play, what to build, and how to win.
The Role
This is a high-impact strategic position focused on market expansion, commercial opportunity, and product direction. You will:
- Analyse global payments trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities
- Identify and prioritise new markets, customer segments, and product propositions
- Build robust, data-driven business cases to inform executive and board decisions
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to validate market demand and commercial viability
- Define go-to-market strategies including positioning, pricing, and revenue models
- Partner with Product and Engineering to translate strategy into clear delivery roadmaps
- Drive alignment across senior stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives land effectively
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background as a Strategy Consultant / Principal / Director (or equivalent in-house strategy role)
- Strong experience in fintech, payments, or financial services
- Track record of delivering market entry, growth strategy, or product expansion initiatives
- Ability to build and articulate high-quality strategic narratives and business cases
- Experience operating at C-suite / board level with strong influencing skills
- Comfortable working across both commercial and product domains
