This is a high-growth, PE-backed technology platform used by Tier-1 financial institutions to monitor, analyse and optimise mission-critical trading and infrastructure environments. The software sits deep within low-latency, high-throughput financial systems where uptime, performance and operational intelligence are business-critical.
Following sustained global growth, new product launches and strategic acquisitions, the firm is expanding its UK Financial Services sales capability. This is a senior role focused on complex enterprise platform sales into highly technical environments.
The Opportunity
You will own a portfolio of major Financial Services institutions while also driving strategic new-logo growth across the UK market. The role is designed for salespeople comfortable operating in deeply technical buying environments, engaging with stakeholders across:
- Platform Engineering
- Infrastructure & SRE teams
- Production Engineering
- Trading Technology
- Capacity & Performance Engineering
- Enterprise Architecture
You will be positioning a platform that sits at the heart of observability, operational resilience and infrastructure intelligence across complex financial ecosystems.
Commercial Scope
Deals are large, strategic and multi-year:
- £100k+ minimum entry point
- £500k typical deal value
- £1m–£4m+ enterprise agreements
Sales cycles vary from rapid expansion deals inside existing environments through to 9–12 month competitive displacement campaigns.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and expanding relationships with major Financial Services institutions
- Identifying new technical use cases across infrastructure, trading platforms and data environments
- Leading complex enterprise sales cycles from technical discovery through to commercial close
- Engaging deeply with engineering and architecture stakeholders to position platform value
- Running structured evaluations and technical PoCs with defined operational outcomes
- Driving multi-threaded engagement across technology and commercial stakeholders
- Delivering high-quality presentations to both technical and executive audiences
- Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting and deal progression
What They’re Looking For
This role is aimed at salespeople who are technically credible and commercially sharp. You will likely bring:
- A proven track record selling enterprise infrastructure or platform software into Financial Services
- Experience navigating technical buying committees and engineering-led evaluations
- Confidence discussing topics such as observability, distributed systems, performance monitoring, operational resilience and modern infrastructure architecture
- A track record of closing six and seven figure enterprise software deals
- Strong commercial drive and a clear history of exceeding targets
Experience from the following areas is particularly relevant:
- Observability platforms
- Infrastructure monitoring
- APM / telemetry platforms
- Data infrastructure
- Market data infrastructure
- Low-latency or trading technology platforms
