An opportunity to join the Client Services team of a leading provider of web-based trading technology, delivering mission‑critical front‑office solutions to global financial institutions. This is a senior, client‑facing role with responsibility for leading complex software delivery programmes across capital markets clients.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Lead complex front‑office technology programmes from discovery through to deployment
- Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects across multiple development teams
- Own scope, timelines, budgets, forecasting and delivery milestones
- Act as primary point of contact for Tier 1 financial services clients
- Identify opportunities for additional work and support sales/procurement cycles where required
- Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders (e.g. Heads of Desk, Traders, CTOs)
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, budgets and delivery reporting
- Ensure adherence to governance, security and regulatory standards
- Lead PMO best practices, standardisation and information security alignment
- Control scope and budget changes effectively
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks
- Line‑manage Project Managers, including resource planning and performance management
- Mentor and develop PMs, supporting career progression and delivery excellence
5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects within capital markets, asset management, or hedge funds
Formal Agile (Scrum Master/Practitioner) and/or PRINCE2 certification
Experience line‑managing and developing Project Managers
Strong reporting, communication and presentation skills
Experience operating in fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environments
