Harrington Starr are pleased to be partnered with a leading global financial services organisation, who is seeking a Change and Transformation Risk Manager to provide independent oversight of acquisitions and material change initiatives. This role sits within the second line of defence and plays a critical part in ensuring strategic change is delivered in a risk-controlled, scalable, and financially sound manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line of defence oversight across acquisition integrations and major change initiatives
- Perform detailed financial risk assessments of target acquisitions, including:
- Market risk
- Credit and counterparty risk
- Liquidity risk
- Impact to the firm’s overall risk profile
- Strategic change programmes
- Investments and divestitures
- Business transformation initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Enterprise Risk Management, with a particular focus on financial risk
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the financial services industry
- Proven ability to assess, articulate, and influence the management of complex risks
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Experience preparing Board-level and Committee-level reporting
- CFA and/or FRM qualification
- Experience supporting M&A due diligence and integration
- Exposure to regulated financial services environments
