Our client, a major player in the financial technology space, is seeking a Senior Automation QA to drive automation excellence across UI, API, and performance layers. This is a key role for an engineer who loves building frameworks from scratch, shaping quality strategy, and mentoring teams toward an automation-first culture.
What You'll Do
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright (UI), Mocha/Axios (API), and K6 (performance).
- Apply best-practice automation architecture (POM, stable locators, CI/CD integration).
- Break down complex scenarios into clear test cases and scalable automation.
- Promote an AI-first approach to testing and delivery.
- Mentor manual QAs and collaborate closely with engineering to uplift engineering quality.
What You Bring
- Strong passion for driving forward testing methods and implementing new systems.
- Strong QA background (8+ years), with 5+ in automation.
- Hands‐on experience with Playwright.
- Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber advantageous.
- Solid AWS experience: CI/CD, CloudFormation/Terraform, monitoring.
- Knowledge of containers/orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with strong initiative and ownership.
Nice to Have
- Experience building automation in serverless environments (AWS Lambda).
- Understanding of AWS security best practices.
- Familiarity with market data.
