Insurance Manager β Global Corporate Insurance (Financial Services) Β£600βΒ£750 per day Inside IR35 12 month contract Hybrid working - 3 days in Central London Office. A globally recognised financial markets and infrastructure business is looking for an experienced Insurance Manager to join a highly visible corporate insurance function supporting a complex international organisation. This is a business-critical role sitting within Group Treasury, responsible for helping shape and execute a global insurance strategy across multiple jurisdictions. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders, brokers and insurers to ensure robust risk transfer programmes are in place while supporting strategic initiatives including M&A activity, claims management and emerging risk assessment. The environment is fast-paced, heavily regulated and genuinely international, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of insurance, risk, governance and business strategy. The Role This is a high-impact position with significant visibility across the organisation and direct exposure to senior leadership. You'll be responsible for: Supporting the delivery of a global corporate insurance strategy across a complex multinational group Leading selected insurance renewals and placements while supporting broader programme negotiations Managing relationships with brokers, insurers and key internal stakeholders across multiple business functions Advising on contractual insurance requirements and ensuring appropriate insurance protections are in place Supporting M&A activity, including insurance due diligence, risk assessments and integration planning Driving improvements in insurance governance, processes and controls across the organisation Identifying emerging and evolving insurable risks and recommending effective mitigation and transfer strategies Supporting major claims activity and crisis response when required Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders on insurance and risk-related matters Deputising for the Head of Corporate Insurance where necessary What We're Looking For Extensive experience in a corporate insurance, insurance broker or insurer environment Strong understanding of global insurance programmes, multinational placements and risk transfer structures Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships within large, complex organisations Exposure to Financial Lines insurance would be highly advantageous Knowledge of insurance implications within mergers, acquisitions and corporate transactions Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills Professional insurance qualification such as ACII is highly desirable Comfortable operating independently while influencing senior decision-makers Why This Role Opportunity to work within a globally recognised financial markets organisation Significant ownership and influence across a complex international insurance portfolio Direct exposure to executive stakeholders and strategic business initiatives Involvement in M&A, emerging risk management and complex multinational insurance programmes Long-term contract opportunity with strong likelihood of extension To apply β click the link or email Barry.Ansell@HarringtonStarr.com for a faster response
