£650–£800 per day Inside IR35 6‑month contract London Hybrid: 2–3 days per week
A leading Investment Bank is strengthening its IT Asset Management and hardware governance across EMEA as part of a wider push around operational resilience, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. This is a newly created contract role with a clear mandate: fix visibility, fix data, and fix control across the physical asset estate.
If you enjoy untangling messy asset data, building structure where there isn’t any, and leaving behind something that actually works — this one will land.
This is a hands‑on, ownership‑led ITAM contract focused on hardware lifecycle management and CMDB accuracy.
You will:
- Define and embed hardware asset lifecycle processes from procurement to disposal
- Establish a trusted, auditable asset inventory across EMEA locations
- Cleanse and reconcile asset and CI data within ServiceNow
- Improve CMDB accuracy, ownership, and controls
- Support internal and external audits with defensible asset data
- Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies across the hardware estate — and fix them
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Procurement, and Global ITAM teams
This is about creating confidence in the data and control in the process.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong IT Asset Management / Hardware Asset Management background
- Experience operating in large, regulated, enterprise environments
- Hands-on with ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB — reconciliation, remediation, reporting
- Solid understanding of hardware lifecycle, controls, and audit requirements
- Comfortable working autonomously and challenging poor data or process
- Clear communicator who can explain issues and solutions to the business
Why This Role:
- High‑trust contract with clear ownership and remit
- Opportunity to materially improve asset visibility and audit outcomes
- Work closely with senior technology stakeholders
- Long‑term programme with tangible, measurable impact
